How to produce substrate of hydrophobic and oleophobic sapphire windows?
Creator Optics selects optical grade sapphire single crystal (Al2O3) as the substrates of hydrophobic and oleophobic sapphire windows. These preferred materials are processed into the required precise external dimensional sapphire optical window blanks by laser orientation machines, CNC cutting machines, round grinding machines, multi-wire cutting machines and other equipment. They are then subjected to a deep CMP to complete a sapphire optical window with excellent surface quality, surface flatness and bifacial parallelism.
How to make hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings on these sapphire windows?Design a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating in the specified application waveband. If the sapphire window needs to have an anti-reflection coating in a specified waveband, they need to be optimized together with hydrophobic and oleophobic thin film. All optical thin films, hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings are plated in ultra-pure environments and under ultra-high vacuum conditions.
