Bi-convex Lens (BCX) / Double Convex (DCX) Lens, custom

    The Bi-Convex Lens / DCX Lens has large range of lengths and are the optimum shape for producing real images at 1:1 magnification. In a single lens application you should consider using them in preference to a single plano-convex lens if the magnification lies in the region -5<-0.2. It is widely used in telescope, collimators, optical transceivers, magnifiers, radiometers and condensers.

    Creator Optics can produce various customized optical bi-convex / double convex (DCX) lenses according to customer requirements. Special cutting lenses such as rectangle, step are available as well.

    Main material of custom bi-convex / double convex lens: BK7 glass and all catalog optical glass, UV fused silica, Corning 7980, JGS1, Sapphire crystal, Quartz crystal, Germanium ( Ge ) monocrystal , Silicon Monocrystal, ZnSe, Barium Fluoride ( BaF2 ), Calcium Fluoride ( CaF2 ), ZnS, Pyrex, BOROFLOAT, float glass, etc.

     Surface Quality: 80/50, 60/40, 40/20, 20/10, 10/5.
     Coating: We provide various single layer or multiplayer anti-reflecting ( AR ) coating against differrent requirements. Customized available.
